Two good friends of SOB, Marcus and Stu, made this video, chronicling the sordid life of whiskers and his good for nothing family of ingrate cats.

The drive is finished, and so are the Adventures of Rock Blastaar, P.I.! In this series, which aired at 3 and 7 PM daily during WPRB’s 2009 Membership Drive, Rock has quit the Radio Rangers to start his own Private Investigation firm on Earth. But after being commissioned by a desperate damsel in distress, Rock once again finds himself hot on the trail of stolen music as he unravels an intergalactic robo-conspiracy of radio automation, music repossession, and world domination. Adam Flynn and I wrote the series over the summer, and I produced each episode over the course of the past month or so. I hope you guys can dig it!
Thanks A Million to Flynn, Dr. Cosmo, Ned, Stu, Julia, Jon, Alan, Zoe, Ray, Ian, MEvL, Marcus, Alaap and anyone who I may have forgotten.
Here’s the first episode, just to wet your whistle:

I’ll be posting the new adventures of Rock Blastaar, P.I., shorty, but until then you can get down on the original Rock Blastaar series from 2007. This one was produced by Adam Flynn and the 2007 summer staff at WPRB. It chronicles the adventures of Rock and the Radio Rangers in their quest to retrieve the music that was stolen from WPRB by the evil Dr. Cosmo. I can’t say I had anything to do with it, although I wish I could. Very cool stuff.

BECAUSE WE’RE BACK IN ACTION (For an afternoon, that is)!
Tune in, turn on, and get down this October 14th for this year’s most mindblowing, face melting, psychedelic super-spectacular – the Loud Lunch membership drive special! We’ll be returning to the airwaves with two more hours of the latest and greatest in psychedelic extravagence, eclectic weirdness and good music!
Oh and dig this: One of our favorite bands this year, Philly’s Niagara falls, was generous enough to make the trek up to Princeton and perform in our studio! I’ve posted this track to wet your whistle until the big day, but you can hear the whole thing on the 14th at 5PM. Thanks guys!

As many of you already know, Loud Lunch has officialyl taken the cheque and settled up. Due to last minute schedule conflicts and just all around bad luck, the show will be going off the air indefinitely. Hopefully we’ll return to the airwaves in the Spring with some more Chromtastic, psychedelic decadence, but until then you’re going to have to settle for the (sigh) New Music Show, with a good friend of SOB, Alex Basile. Until next time, have a great weekend and drive safely.

Wikipedia Sez…
Wizards is an animated post-apocalyptic science fiction/fantasy film about the battle between two wizards, one representing the forces of magic and one representing the forces of technology. It was written, produced and directed by Ralph Bakshi.
Wizards is notable for being the first fantasy film made by Bakshi, who was previously known only for urban films such as Fritz the Cat, Heavy Traffic and Coonskin. It grossed $9 million theatrically, and has since become a cult classic. It was released on DVD in2004.
